An evening of cheese, wine+stories in my Camberwell Home

I’m so excited to announce my new Eatwith event - hosted in my Camberwell home. Over the past few months, I’ve been dreaming up a way to bring together my two great loves: cheese and connection. Today, I spent most of the afternoon doing a little cheese shoot in my kitchen, making brownies, and experimenting with flavours and accompaniments to make sure every pairing is as delicious and memorable as possible.

For those of you who’ve never come across Eatwith, it’s a platform where people around the world open their homes to share food and connection - whether that’s a dinner, a tasting, or a cooking class. As well as being a cheesemonger, I also teach French part-time, and I stumbled upon Eatwith while planning a lesson for a foodie student. I thought it was a brilliant way to combine some of my favourite things: storytelling, curiosity, and, of course, great cheese. The platform started in France, where it’s hugely popular: long, leisurely dinners, wine pairings, even regional cheese tastings are the norm. In the UK, inviting people into your home for a meal still feels a little unusual. Supper clubs exist all over London, but rarely in such a personal, homely setting.

For this new experience, I’m inviting guests to join me for a guided tasting of 4-5 carefully selected cheeses, paired with wine and thoughtful accompaniments. We explore the flavours, the landscapes, and the people behind each cheese.

You can book a spot at my table and spend the evening eating, chatting, and meeting new people. I love the idea - it’s the kind of thing I’d want to go to myself. Each event is unique: some guests are locals, others are travellers passing through, but everyone leaves with new stories, new friends, and maybe even a new favourite cheese. You can join as an individual and make new connections, or book as a private group - perfect for birthdays, hen or stag parties, or just a night with friends.

Guests gather around my table and taste their way through a selection of different textured and flavoured cheeses paired with wine and thoughtful accompaniments - simple, relaxed, and delicious.

How do I book?
You can book your spot by clicking here or through my events page - where you will be able to browse other London events that I host.

Who is this event for?
London can be a big, overwhelming city, and sometimes it’s hard to know how to meet new people. If you love food and enjoy being in a relaxed, homely environment, this event is for you!

What’s included?
Each evening, I carefully select 4-5 cheeses with a range of accompaniments such as fruit, bread, crackers, chutneys, chocolate, cake, and sometimes cider or beer. You’ll always get wine or a soft drink, whichever you prefer.

How safe is this?
Eatwith is a certified platform that vets every host. As a host, I can review and accept guests, and you can feel confident about joining a trusted, safe experience.

What if I’m gluten-free or vegetarian?
You can message me with any dietary requirements before booking. I will do my best to accommodate them. Please note: if the theme is something like French cheese, vegetarian options may be limited since many French cheeses use animal rennet.

Can I book as a group?
Yes! Guests can book for up to 8 people. If you’d like a themed evening, I can tailor it to your needs. For example, if you’d like a raclette night, I can provide all the Alpine extras for an additional £5 per person.

Any other questions?
Feel free to message me anytime via the contact page - I’m happy to help!
